School hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The building opens at 7:15 a.m. Breakfast time is 7:30 a.m.- 7:50 a.m.
All students must enter in by the multi-purpose center,from the breeze way before 7:45 a.m.

Regular attendance is important to the success of Shadydale. Students are expected to be present and punctual for all classes, throughout the school year. In case of an absence/tardy, parents/guardians are asked to call the attendance office by 9:00 a.m. on the first day of the absence. This enables us to inform teachers and to keep current on childhood illnesses, which are affecting our students.

Students are more successful in school when the important adults in their lives are working together to support the efforts of the child. A concerted effort is made by the staff at Shadydale to keep parents informed of the skills, topics, and achieving them.

The Ram flyer is sent home every week. Please ask your child to share it with you every Friday evening. You can count on it to contain a listing of all upcoming events and notification of changes in schedules.

Parents do your children expect your help with their homework? Let them know you're around if they need you, but their schoolwork is their job. The benefit of this is creating a responsible child learning to find the answers themselves, as well as boost their skills.
