R.E. Kirby Middle School's Mission is to provide all students with the educational opportunities to develop their full potential intellectually, physically, and socially, in order to be responsible and contributing members of society.

All stakeholders will be responsible for preparing students to become responsible, productive, well mannered and successful achievers.

R. E. Kirby Middle School is rated as Academically Acceptable by the State of Texas. On the Federal level, Kirby did not meet AYP in the areas of reading and mathematics for Special Education students. We are a Stage 3 campus under a correction action plan.
