21st Century CASE – Cooperative For After-School Enrichment Program |
21st Century CASE Program Vision |
Every child in Harris County has access to a high quality after-school program. |
21st Century CASE Program Mission |
We are committed to building partnership, providing resources, leadership and training that support quality after-school programs in Harris County.
A Partnership Project is the result of collaboration between Harris County Dept. of Education, Harris County Judge Robert Eckels and Texas Workforce Commission. The Partnership project concept extends beyond the governmental agencies – it involves schools and families as well, requiring minimal co-pays for services. Federal law requires that parents/guardians pay a fee for after-school care. This fee is minimal and is based on the monthly income. All fees are collected by the school to help cover the costs of the program.

The instruction involves a variety of on teaching and learning strategies which includes: word drills, mini skill lessons, whole group instruction, small group instruction, peer tutoring, one on one tutoring, and motivational incentives for attendance and achievement.
