    Geometric Shapes
  • 1st grade students used geometric shapes such as the circles, squares, ovals… to make buildings, trees, sun, flowers, and clouds.
  • Beautiful artworks done by 2nd, 4th, and 5th, grade students.
  • 21st Century CASE Art
  • Students in the 21st Century CASE Program completed many beautiful drawings under the guidance of the Art teacher, Mrs. Dellosa.
  • Skyscrapers!
  • More students used geometric shapes to draw different types of skyscrapers.
  • Maracas
  • In celebration of the Hispanic Heritage Month, students in Mrs. Dellosa’s Art class drew many varieties of Maracas. Maracas, sometimes called rumba shakers are a native instrument of Puerto Rico, Cuba, Venezuela and several nations of the Caribbean and Latin America. They are simple percussion instruments (idiophones), usually played in pairs, consisting of a dried calabash or gourd shell (cuia - 'kOO-ya') or coconut shell filled with seeds or dried beans. They may also be made of leather, wood, or plastic.
  • Mexican Sombrero
  • In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month in September, Art students in Mrs. Dellosa’s class drew many colorful sombreros.

  • Beautiful Mexican guitars done by Mrs. Dellosa’s Art students!

  • Students in the 21st Century CASE Program made more beautiful projects after school.
  • Christmas Card Contest
  • Students in Mrs. Dellosa’s Art class made many different Christmas cards to prepare for the Christmas card contest in December.
