Pride Week winners!
5th grade student Israel Hernandez won 3rd place in the North Forest ISD Pride Week Art Contest (elementary division) on November 12th, 2007.
4th grade students Andrea Cortec won 1st place and Jazmin Valdez won 3rd place in the North Forest ISD Pride Week Essay Contest (elementary division) on November 12th, 2007.
Mack Stewart won a Gold Medal in the North Forest ISD Pride Week Essay Contest for the entire district on November 12th, 2007.

The winner of the Can Good Drive is Mrs. Lalata’s class. Mrs. Lalata’s class will have ice cream served during lunchtime. Also, Mrs. Lalata’s class will be accepted at the skating party on January 11th, 2008 for free.

4,713 Pennies! |
|
Math Coach Ms. McNeil would like to thank every teacher that encouraged their students to participate in the 100th Day Coin Celebration. She would like to give a special thanks to each of the student for bringing in 100 pennies. We were able to collect a total of 4,713 pennies. The money collected will be placed in a math activity fund to help purchase items for the 100th Day Celebration in February. |

"Best of Show!" |
 The artwork of Anna Mynar, a 5th grade student from Mrs. Hagger’s class was judged “Best of Show” by the district (Elementary Level). On March 8th, 2008, she will be recognized and will receive additional awards at the School Art Awards Presentation. The ceremony will be held at the Reliant Center. Her artwork will be on display in the Hayloft Gallery of the Reliant Center and will be viewed by hundreds of thousands for the duration of 2008 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
