Last PTA Meeting for the Semester |
 PTA President Mrs. Jackson passed out gifts to the Lakewood parents on the last PTA meeting of the semester on December 11th, 2007. She also has purchased headsets that will translate English to Spanish when speaking through the microphone!

Christmas Songs With PTA! |
 Kindergarten and 2nd grade students sang Christmas songs and read Christmas stories to the parents at the PTA meeting on December 12th, 2006. |

 PTA members and volunteers passed out refreshments to 3rd-5th grade students during the TAKS tests time on February 20th, 2007. Thanks to the PTA for their awesome job! |

Gutters! |
 PTA President Rosalinda Pena presented a check worth over $600 to the construction worker who had put in gutters for the front porch of the school during the week of May 1st, 2007. Thank you PTA and the PTA fund for the effort to make Lakewood the best place to learn! |

 In celebration of Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) of the Mexico Independence Day, Lakewood PTA put on a wonderful show on May 4th, 2007 to celebrate this special day! Thank you Lakewood PTA for making this event possible! |
