A student who becomes ill during school hours is to report to the teacher who will send the student to the clinic. No student is allowed to go home without the parent being notified. Students are not to call parents from cell phones or pod phones asking to go home; such call are to be made from the nurses office by the nurse or other school personnel.

In accordance with Texas State Law, students will not be allowed to enroll if immunization records(one issued by a public health facility or signed by a licensed physician) are not presented to the school upon enrollment and if the student's immunization records are not current.
